The couples’ engagement was a sweet moment shared under the lighting of the Christmas tree in Denton, Texas. A night with romance and magic alive in the winter air.
“He let it slip when and where he would be proposing but it was still so magical. It was December 2023 during the tree lighting in Denton and when they lit everything up he got down and asked me to marry him. There was so many people around us but it felt like just us.”
The couple kept their wedding intimate and simple, inviting only those closest with them to share their special day.
“Our wedding was very close and intimate, we had less than 100 people as my husband and I both get overstimulated and overwhelmed around a lot of people. Our colors were light pink with pops of dusty blue and emerald. My husband saw the dusty blue as teal as he is colorblind.”
A beautiful reminder that in the end, your wedding day is about you and your partner and the promise you are making to each other. Your wedding should always be about you, and what feels the most special to you both. A time to celebrate without any pressure or worries to take you out of the moment. Much in the personal theme of her wedding day, Madelyn’s favourite memory was being surrounded by her loved ones, who travelled to make day extra special for the bride.
