Samantha had always said she didn’t know what her “perfect” proposal would look like, but Tristan somehow created exactly that. He took her back to her hometown for a walk along their favourite river and proposed surrounded by the countryside. They then returned home to share the news with her family and celebrate with friends at a local town event.
For someone who has always treasured her small-town community, having the people and place that shaped her be part of such a special moment made the proposal even more meaningful. She never knew what her dream proposal was until Tristan gave it to her.
Their wedding was romantic and timeless, with a fun, celebratory spirit at its heart. They celebrated with around 95 guests at Braeside Estate, with a black-tie dress code and a soft palette of blues, greens and whites inspired by their love of the outdoors and ocean.
Lace was woven throughout the day in thoughtful details, while a traditional French croquembouche honoured Tristan’s family heritage. The celebration continued into a lively after-party, bringing together everything they loved most — elegance, personality and a great party.
I fell in love with the Garner gown. The Chantilly lace was absolute perfection. I think lace is so romantic, and the bodice was so flattering. It just felt so ‘bridal’, and that was exactly what I wanted. I went to Luv Bridal in Brisbane three times! The girls there were amazing and so incredibly helpful. I never felt rushed, which is a must for me! I also felt like they truly wanted to help me find the dress I had envisioned. I actually struggled to find a dress and visited many, many stores beforehand, so when I saw the Garner gown, I immediately knew it was the one. I got it express-made and shipped because it was so close to my wedding, and I’m so, so thankful I did. I truly felt beautiful.
Try on Garner and celebrate the beauty of pure love today!
